GATE Exam Admit Card 2020: GATE Admit Card will be released by the IIT D from the January at the www.appsgate.iitd.ac.in (GOAPS). How To Download the GATE Exam Admit Card 2020
Applicant may follow the given steps to download the GATE Admit Card easily. candidates need to log-in to the GOAPS portal using their enrolment or email id and password. Discrepancies have to be checked by the candidates and if present they will have to get in touch with exam authorities to get it rectified.
- Visit the GOAPS Official Website which is www.appsgate.iitd.ac.in
- Log in using the enrollment ID/email address and password
- The Admit Card will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take a print out of the Admit Card
Details on Admit Card:
Candidates are advised to check all the details mentioned on the Admit Card. The Information Like Name of the candidate, Registration number, GATE 2020 paper appearing for Examination center code, Name and address of the exam center, Date and day of the exam, Examination Timing, Candidate’s Photograph, and Signature, Signature of GATE organizing chairman, Examination Day Instructions
Candidates also have to carry an original copy of their original identification proofs like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, College ID, Employee ID, Driving License along with the Print out of the GATE Admit. If the candidates fail to present any of the below-mentioned identity proof, then they will not be allowed inside the GATE examination center.
GATE 2020 Answer Key:
The Gate 2020 Answer key will be released for all 25 25 GATE papers and include answers to questions asked for the specific paper by various coaching institutes. Candidates can compare their answer with the published answer key and calculate the number. Applicant can have an idea about the probable score. The tentatively releasing date of the GATE Answer Key in the 3rd week of February.
GATE Result 2020:
The Exam conducting authority will declare the result of GATE 2020 for all the 25 papers in March 2020. The result will be available through GOAPS. Applicant will be able to download their GATE Result just as the Admit card by log in to the Official website of GOAPS. The Result will be published as the rank card format. Since the GATE scorecard will be available for only a limited period of time, candidates should download it before the last date or will not be able to download it.
GATE 2020 Counselling:
The Exam conducting body will not conduct any common counseling for GATE 2020. The candidates instead will have to apply separately for admission to M.Tech courses offered by various institutes based on Gate Score and Rank. In the case of candidates who wants to take admission in an IIT, he/ she will have to register on COAP, and also apply separately to the specific IIT. For admission in NITs, counseling is commonly done through CCMT.
