The office of the district magistrate and controller of civil defense, Birbhum has published are recruitment notification for appointing fresh candidates as West Bengal civic volunteer recruitment 2017 civic defense volunteer. West Bengal government has sponsored the names of 75 civic volunteers for engagement of 25 C.D.VS on a daily payment basis at the rate of Rs- 395/-per day, a maximum of 22 days per month.
