Eligibility Criteria for SBI 8500 Apprentice Recruitment 2020 Online Apply

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed in Graduation from a recognized University/Institute as of 31.10.2020. The selected apprentices should be willing to qualify in the examinations of IIBF (JAIIB/CAIIB) during 3 years of apprenticeship engagement in the Bank.

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates’ age limit should have a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years as of 31.10.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.11.1992 and not later than 31/10/2000 (both days inclusive). The maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines for
SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Stipend/ Benefit:
Selected apprentices are eligible for a stipend of Rs.15000/- per month during the 1st year, Rs.16500/- per month during the 2nd year, and Rs.19000/- per month during the 3rd year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/benefits.

Selection Process:
Candidates’ selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) online written test and (ii) test of the local language.
(i) Online Written Test:

ii. Test of the local language:
The specified local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The candidates applying for
vacancies of a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) of the specified local
language of that State as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged as an apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. Candidates will have to appear for the test of specified opted local language at a center (to be decided
by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses.

iii. Medical Examination:
Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.
Final Selection will be subject to:
a) Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application.
b) Qualifying in a test of specified opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above.
c) Declared fit in the Medical examination.

Candidates can apply online and no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates will be required to register
themselves online through website www.nsdcindia.org/apprenticeship or www.apprenticeshipindia.org or www.bfsissc.com or www.bank.sbi/careers or www.sbi.co.in/careers in SBI.

Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned copy:
1. Photograph must be a recent passport-style color picture (Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb).
2. Applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen (Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb).

4. Candidates should have a valid email ID and mobile no.

Application Fees/Intimation Charges:
Candidates should have paid the non-refundable application fees Rs.-300/- for General/OBC/EWS & no charges for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
