Eligibility Criteria for SBI Probationary Officers Recruitment 2020 Online Application

Academic Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt. Those who are in the Final Year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2020. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2020. Candidates possessing the qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit should have between not below 21 years and not above 30 years as of 01.04.2020 i.e. Candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.1999 & not earlier than 02.04.1990 (both days inclusive). The relaxation in upper age limit shall be 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer, 15 years for PWD (SC/ST), 13 years for PWD (OBC), 10 years for PWD (Gen/EWS) & 5 years for Ex-Servicemen.

The scale of Pay:
Presently, the starting basic pay is 27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time (the emoluments are likely to be revised shortly).

Selection Procedure:
Candidates’ selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-tier process.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination

(ii) Descriptive Test: The duration of the Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing
& Essay) with two questions for a total of 50 marks.

Phase-III: Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Phase-II (Main Exam).
There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category wise vacancies will be
shortlisted for Phase-III from the top of the category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate
qualifying score.

Application Fee & Intimation Charges:
The non-refundable application fee will be 750/- for General/EWS/OBC candidates and ‘Nil’ for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Application Fee once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

How to Apply for SBI PO Recruitment 2020
Candidates can apply online only from 14.11.2020 to 04.12.2020. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Before applying candidates will be required to keep the mentioned documents:
1. Scanned copy of recent passport size color photograph (between 20-50 kb).
2. Scanned copy of signature (between 10-20 kb).
