WB Prachesta Scheme 2020:The outbreak of corona virus (COVID-19) in the country has caused the loss of livelihood for a large number of labourer/daily wage earner and worker working in the unorganized sector of our State. West Bengal Government has initiated a new scheme name “Prachesta” in order to help Daily worker, Labour who have lost their income during the COVID-19 pandemic. The new scheme called “Prachesta” will provide financial assistance to such labourer/daily wage earner/worker who has lost employment or livelihood opportunities due to outbreak of Corona Virus (COVID-19). This scheme all the worker will be benefited from financial assistance so they can pass through this difficult time. The scheme will activate from 15th April to 15th May 2020. The aspirant who fulfils all the eligibility criteria can download the “Prachesta Application” in their Android phone and fill the application form online. The updated mobile app is available on the official website created for Prachesta Scheme.
About Prachesta Scheme:
This new scheme called Prachesta will provide financial assistance to labourer / daily wage earner who had lost their income due to this Corona spread. Under this scheme, the labourer/worker who does not have any alternative sustainable source of income and is passing through extreme distress will get paid Rs 1000/- as the support.
Eligibility Criteria for West Bengal Prachesta Scheme
Any labourer / daily worker of West Bengal who had lost their income source in this Corona outbreak are eligible to apply for this scheme. But still aspirant should clarify all criteria before they apply or it could be possible that the application form could be cancelled.
1. The labourer/daily Wage/worker should be the sole bread-winner of the family.
2. Only one person from a family will be eligible.
3. Applicant should not be a beneficiary of any social scheme of the state, like a social pension scheme (Old age, widow and disability pension), Samajik Suraksha Yojana (SSY) etc.
How to apply for Prachesta Scheme – Download Prachesta App
The application form only is submitted online. The applicant can fill up the application through the prachesta android application. Follow the given instruction
• Download the “Prachesta App” through the link given below on your Android mobile phone (প্রথমে নিজের Andriod Mobile এ “প্রচেষ্টা App” টি Download করুন)
• Open the app and select your language (App টি খুলে আপনার ভাষা বেঁচে নিন)
• Register yourself with the phone number (নিজের মোবাইল নাম্বার দিয়ে রেজিস্টার করুন)
• fill up the application form (এপ্লিকেশন ফর্ম টি fill up করুন)
• Give your bank details (নিজের ব্যাঙ্ক এর তথ্য দিন)
• Upload the Photo and Identity card image (Adhar card / Votar card / Ration card) (নিজের ছবি (পাসপোর্ট) এবং আইডেন্টিটি কার্ড এর ছবি আপলোড করুন (ভোটার কার্ড/রেশন কার্ড / আধার কার্ড)
• Put your Ration Card details (রেশন কার্ড এর তথ্য দিন)
• Complete the digital signature (নিজের ডিজিটাল স্বাক্ষর সম্পন্ন করুন)
• Finally submit the Application form (নিজের এপ্লিকেশন ফর্ম টি জমা দিন)
