This Scholarship scheme is initiated as Loreal believes that Science played a great role in Progress and the endowment of women is crucial to its future. The student who wishes to pursue higher education in Science can apply for this scholarship Online. The scheme will be granted to promising young women who are economically disadvantaged.
The program was commenced in 2003 and Science then the program has helped young women to pursue a career in scientific fields. Selected Women scholars will receive financial aid to cover college fees for graduate studies in any scientific field (Pure Sciences/Applied Sciences/Engineering/Medical, etc.) at a recognized college or university in India. Eligible Criteria for Loreal India Young Women in Science Scholarship 2021
- Only Girl candidates can apply for this scholarship
- The age limit should not be more than 19 years
- Candidates should pass class 12th
- Minimum 85% marks are required in HS
- Annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 4,00,000 (4.00 Lakhs)
Scholarship Amount
The Scholarship will provide all study expenses till graduation. Selected L’Oréal Women Scholars will be awarded an overall scholarship sum of up to INR 2,50,000 (2.50 lakhs). This Scholarship will cover college fees for pursuing any scientific field in any recognized college or University in India.

1. Attested copy of age proof certificate (Birth Certificate / 10th class Board Admit Card).
2. Proof of Family Income (Income Certificate / Salary Certificate/form 16).
3. Photocopy of 10th and 12th standard mark sheets attested by the school.
4. An essay (not more than 600 words) about yourself and why you have decided to pursue the chosen course of study and how the scholarship will help you, which is to be handwritten by yourself.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their Application. Selected candidates and their parents shall be called for an interview in Delhi/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Bangalore (based on the proximity of the candidate) at their own cost. The scholarship shall be granted to the students solely selected by L’Oreal India Private Limited. The discretion of L’Oreal India shall be conclusive. No requests shall be entertained for reasons regarding non-selection
