About Garhbeta College:
Garhbeta College is a co-educational college situated in Garhbeta, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. It was established in the year 1948 and offers undergraduate education. The college is affiliated with Vidyasagar University. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In 2014, NAAC has accredited by Grade B. Garhbeta College was founded on 13 August 1948 under the leadership of the freedom fighter Late Gobinda Kumar Singha to impart higher education to the economically backward and geographically remote area of the Midnapore district. Students applying both for the Honours and General Courses must submit a separate application form. Eligibility Criteria for Garhbeta College Admission 2021-22 – Online Application

Garhbeta College Admission Criteria:
Candidates who are passing the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent board/council in the years 2020/2019/2018 are eligible to apply. However, a candidate passing the 10+2 level examination before 2018 with the above-mentioned criteria can also apply after getting special permission from the Secretary, UG Council of Vidyasagar University, Paschim Medinipur.
 Candidate must have passed in 5(Five)/4(Four) (where applicable) recognized subjects including at least one language subject.
 Candidates who passed the vocational Course can apply in B.A. (General) Course only.
 For the Honours course, the candidates must have passed with at least 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in subjects or related subjects in the qualifying examination.
