Eligibility Criteria for Dinhata College Admission 2021-22 – Dinhata College Online Application
Admission Procedure for Dinhata College Admission:
Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary (H.S./12th) examinations conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary education in 10+2 pattern after a period of 12 years of study or an examination by other boards recognized as equivalent by the University of Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma. Applicants from ISC, CBSE, National Open School (NIOS), or other recognized boards must have in at least 04 subjects (excluding Environmental studies) with English as a compulsory subject.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) For Hons. courses an applicant must have obtained either (i) 55% marks in the aggregate or (ii) 50% marks in the aggregate with 60% marks in the subject.
2) For SC/ST candidates the minimum marks for eligibility to apply for admission to Hons. courses is (i) 50% marks in the aggregate or (ii) 45% in the aggregate with 60% in the subject concerned.
3) For Program an applicant must have passed in at least 4 subjects excluding Environmental Studies with English as a compulsory subject in W.B. Higher Secondary/equivalent exam/Vocational stream.

Dinhata College Merit List:
Selection will be strictly based on merit points following the guidelines of the Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University. Admission will be conducted strictly on the basis of merit. The subject wise merit lists will be prepared based on corresponding index mark for all categories of students. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates from only West Bengal are eligible for reservation benefits.
