Educational Qualification:
Technical Asst — 1st class Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation) of at least 3 years full-time duration or at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses.
Technical Officer — 1st Class in B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics plus one-year full-time professional qualification.

Age limit & Relaxation:
For those post candidates, age should be between 28 years to 35 years. The maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBCNC, 10 years for PwBD (UR),13 years for PwBD (OBCNC), and 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST) candidates.

Selection Process:
Screening of applications followed by the Trade Test(qualifying in nature) for the screened-in
applicants. The candidates who qualify in the Trade Test will be called for a competitive Written Test. The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in Paper-II & III of the Written Test in the Competitive written examination for those candidates who are declared to be qualified in Paper-I.
